Steve and I spent the day with our children and grandchildren. Matt as brought his beautiful girlfriend Tara Lynn and we just had a wonderful day.
Josh's neighbor, Johnnie, or better known to me as Sweetpea is always a delight to get to see. I must say she is absolutely the most delightful woman I think I have ever met. I stayed the night at her house a few months back and felt like I was a teenager getting to have a slumber party. She just oozes with excitement.
Thanksmas in November
Each year we do Christmas on Jan 3rd since this has been the only time all the family could get together. We decided this year we would have Christmas on Thanksgiving. After a wonderful Thanksgiving meal and a night of Christmas, it was decided it would be a Long family tradition to call it Thanksmas and celebrate it this way each year. To top the day off, we went to the park and took family pictures. Lisa took her graduation pictures today since she is graduating from Texas Tech on December 15th.
Our Thanksmas Day was spent with lots of laughter, hugs and kisses. I must say that I am a blessed woman to have such wonderful children and grandchildren.
