HIS WORK IS PERFECT

Photo Provided by Tina Leigh

Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will
speak; and hear, O earth, the words
of my mouth.   My doctrine shall drop
as the rain, my speech shall distil as
the dew, as the small rain upon the
tender herb, and as the showers upon
the grass:  Because I will publish the
name of the LORD: ascribe ye greatness
unto our God.  He is the Rock, his
work is perfect: for all his ways are
judgment: a God of truth and without
iniquity, just and right is he.

THOU HAST BEEN OUR DWELLING PLACE

Lord, thou hast been our dwelling
place in all generations  Before the mountains
were brought forth, or ever thou hadst
formed the earth and the world, even from
everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.

I WILL OPEN RIVERS IN HIGH PLACES

Photo Provided by Cathy Ponzio

Fear thou not; for I am with thee:
be not dismayed; for I am thy God:
I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee;
yea, I will uphold thee with the right
hand of my righteousness. Behold, all they
that were incensed against thee shall be
ashamed and confounded: they shall
be as nothing; and they that strive with
thee shall perish.  Thou shalt seek them,
and shalt not find them, even them that
contended with thee: they that war against
thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing
of nought.  For I the LORD thy God will
hold thy right hand, saying unto thee,
Fear not; I will help thee.  Fear not, thou
worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will
help thee, saith the LORD, and thy
redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.
Behold, I will make thee a new sharp
threshing instrument having teeth:
thou shalt thresh the mountains, and beat
them small, and shalt make the hills as chaff.
Thou shalt fan them, and the wind
shall carry them away, and the whirlwind
shall scatter them: and thou shalt rejoice
in the LORD, and shalt glory in the Holy
One of Israel.  When the poor and needy seek
water, and there is none, and their tongue faileth
for thirst, I the LORD will hear them, I the God
of Israel will not forsake them.  I will open rivers
in high places, and fountains in the midst
of the valleys: I will make the wilderness a
pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.
I will plant in the wilderness the cedar,
the shittah tree, and the myrtle, and the
oil tree; I will set in the desert the fir tree,
and the pine, and the box tree together:
That they may see, and know, and consider,
and understand together, that the hand of
the LORD hath done this, and the Holy One
of Israel hath created it.

WALK IN THE NAME OF THE LORD FOREVER

Photo provided by Marion Poole

But But in the last days it shall come
to pass, that the mountain of the house
of the LORD shall be established in the
top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted
above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.
And many nations shall come, and say,
Come, and let us go up to the mountain
of the LORD, and to the house of the God
of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways,
and we will walk in his paths: for the law
shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the
LORD from Jerusalem. And he shall
judge among many people, and rebuke
strong nations afar off; and they shall beat
their swords into plowshares, and their spears
into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a
sword against nation, neither shall they learn
war any more.  But they shall sit every
man under his vine and under his fig tree;
and none shall make them afraid:
for the mouth of the LORD
of hosts hath spoken it.  For all
people will walk every one in the
name of his god, and we will walk
in the name of the LORD our God for
ever and ever.

THE WAY OF THE LORD

Photo provided by Marion Poole

The hope of the righteous shall be gladness:
but the expectation of the wicked shall perish.
The way of the LORD is strength to the
upright: but destruction shall be to the
workers of iniquity. The righteous shall
never be removed: but the wicked shall
not inhabit the earth. The mouth of the
just bringeth forth wisdom: but the
froward tongue shall be cut out. The
lips of the righteous know what
is acceptable: but the mouth of the
wicked speaketh frowardness.

CHILDREN ARE AN HERITAGE OF THE LORD

Photo provided by Kerri Hupp

Except the LORD build the house,
they labour in vain that build it:
except the LORD keep the city,
the watchman waketh but in vain.
It is vain for you to rise up early,
to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows:
for so he giveth his beloved sleep.
Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD:
and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
As arrows are in the hand of a mighty
man; so are children of the youth.
Happy is the man that hath his quiver
full of them: they shall not be ashamed,
but they shall speak with the enemies
in the gate.

RIGHTEOUSNESS SHALL GO BEFORE HIM

Wilt thou not revive us again: that
thy people may rejoice in thee?
Shew us thy mercy, O LORD,
and grant us thy salvation.
I will hear what God the LORD
will speak: for he will speak peace
unto his people, and to his saints:
but let them not turn again to folly.
Surely his salvation is nigh them
that fear him; that glory may dwell
in our land. Mercy and truth are met
together; righteousness and peace
have kissed each other. Truth shall spring
out of the earth; and righteousness shall
look down from heaven. Yea, the
LORD shall give that which is good;
and our land shall yield her increase.
Righteousness shall go before him;
and shall set us in the way of his steps.

GOD GIVES WISDOM

Photo provided by Lisa Villarreal

My brethren, count it all joy when
ye fall into divers temptations;
Knowing this, that the trying of
your faith worketh patience.
But let patience have her
perfect work, that ye may be
perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
If any of you lack wisdom,
let him ask of God, that giveth
to all men liberally, and upbraideth
not; and it shall be given him.
But let him ask in faith, nothing
wavering. For he that wavereth
is like a wave of the sea driven
with the wind and tossed.
