STREAMS IN THE WILDERNESS

Photo provided by Steve & Donna Rogers

Remember ye not the former things,
neither consider the things of old.
Behold, I will do a new thing;
now it shall spring forth;
shall ye not know it? I will even
make a way in the wilderness,
and rivers in the desert.  The beast
of the field shall honour me, the
dragons and the owls: because I
give waters in the wilderness,
and rivers in the desert,
to give drink to my people,
 my chosen.  This people have
I formed for myself; they
shall shew forth my praise.

I LOVE THE LORD BECAUSE HE HEARD MY VOICE

Photo provided by Steve & Donna Rogers
Created by Sherry Long

I love the LORD, because he hath
heard my voice and my supplications.
Because he hath inclined his ear unto me,
therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.
The sorrows of death compassed me,
and the pains of hell gat hold upon me:
I found trouble and sorrow.
 Then called I upon the name of the LORD;
O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.
Gracious is the LORD, and righteous;
yea, our God is merciful.
The LORD preserveth the simple:
I was brought low, and he helped me.
Return unto thy rest, O my soul;
for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.
For thou hast delivered my soul from death,
mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.
I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.
I believed, therefore have I spoken:
I was greatly afflicted: I said in my haste,
All men are liars. What shall I render unto the LORD
for all his benefits toward me?
 I will take the cup of salvation,
and call upon the name of the LORD.
I will pay my vows unto the LORD
now in the presence of all his people.
Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.
O LORD, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant,
and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.
I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving,
and will call upon the name of the LORD.
I will pay my vows unto the LORD now
in the presence of all his people,
In the courts of the LORD’S house, in the midst of thee,
O Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.

REVISION TO "DIGGING A WELL"

REVISION TO DIGGING A WELL
To be completed by the end of December 2013.

We were never able to get the book, journal and study guide matching due to loosing the files on my computer. Therefore, we have recreated the front cover so that the books will be a set that will look nicely beside each other when using them together.  The study guide shown above will be reset to match the book as there is still a slight difference in this screen shot.

I was able to get a downloaded copy of the book from createspace and now the process will begin to remove the double spacing, insert a new chapter, and make correction to area's spotted after the first print.

The book is still available online as the old version..  I will keep you posted as to when the new copy is made available.  Thus far we have never tried to get these books into the bookstores or church libraries but after the revision these should be ready to move forward with sales into new area's.

Please keep me in your prayers as I am spending as much time as possible to make these books ready and available by 2014.

LET THE PROOFING BEGIN

     Wondering if I would ever see this day!

     Yesterday I received the proof copy of "Let Everything that hath Breath Praise the Lord."  We still have the final proofing to do on this book and that will take a month or two.

     Keep me in your prayers as I press toward that mark.  Over the last year we have hit so many obstacles that caused me to question the Lord, as to if, I should even be writing this book.  Each time the conformation came that it wasn't the Lord stopping the print of this book but the enemy who was trying to destroy the work of the Lord.

     It was March 1st that this book was to be published and the whole file was destroyed in our move from West Texas.  Many hours of prayer has gone into this publication seeking the Lord's will and guidance.  I ask each of you to bind with me in prayers over the final process.

THE HEAVENS DECLARE THE GLORY OF THE LORD

Photo Provided By Lynn Ayres Long

The heavens declare the glory of God;
and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
Day unto day uttereth speech,
and night unto night sheweth knowledge.
There is no speech nor language,
where their voice is not heard.
Their line is gone out through all the earth,
and their words to the end of the world.
In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,
Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,
and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.
His going forth is from the end of the heaven,
and his circuit unto the ends of it:
and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.
The law of the LORD is perfect,
converting the soul: the testimony
of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
The statutes of the LORD are right,
rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD
is pure, enlightening the eyes.
The fear of the LORD is clean,
enduring for ever: the judgments of the'
 LORD are true and righteous altogether.
More to be desired are they than gold,
yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than
honey and the honeycomb.
Moreover by them is thy servant warned,
and in keeping of them there is great reward.
Who can understand his errors? cleanse
 thou me from secret faults.
Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins;
let them not have dominion over me:
 then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent
from the great transgression.
Let the words of my mouth,
and the meditation of my heart,
be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD,
my strength, and my redeemer.
(Psalms 19)

MY PLACE / HIS PLACE

While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell
on all them which heard the word.  And they of the
 circumcision which believed were astonished, as
many as came with Peter, because that on the
Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the
Holy Ghost. For they heard them speak with
tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,
Can any man forbid water, that these should
not be baptized, which have received the
Holy Ghost as well as we?
And he commanded them to be baptized
 in the name of the Lord.

"LET EVERYTHING THAT HATH BREATH PRAISE THE LORD"

Thanks for all the prayers during the creation of "Let Everything that hath Breath Praise the Lord." Then the loss of the whole layout and file and once again the new creation of the book.   We are not there yet but the cover is created and I am being mailed a proof copy.  So be in prayer for me as I proof, mark, proof and rewrite anything that needs to be corrected before the final submission of the book.

Please keep me in your prayers over the next few weeks as we work diligently to pull this whole project together and publish.
