A FAITHFUL MESSENGER

Photo provided by Patricia Ziegler

Go not forth hastily to strive, lest
thou know not what to do in
the end thereof, when thy
neighbour hath put thee to
shame. Debate thy cause with
thy neighbour himself; and
discover not a secret to
another:  Lest he that heareth
it put thee to shame, and thine
infamy turn not away.  A word fitly
spoken is like apples of gold in
pictures of silver.  As an earring of
gold, and an ornament of fine gold,
so is a wise reprover upon an
obedient ear.  As the cold of snow
in the time of harvest, so is a faithful
messenger to them that send him: for
he refresheth the soul of his masters.
Whoso boasteth himself of a false
gift is like clouds and wind
without rain.

CAN ANY HIDE?

Photo provided by Kelly Ann Gray

The anger of the LORD shall not
return, until he have executed,
and till he have performed the
thoughts of his heart: in the latter
days ye shall consider it perfectly.
I have not sent these prophets,
yet they ran: I have not spoken
to them, yet they prophesied.
But if they had stood in my
counsel, and had caused my
people to hear my words, then
they should have turned them
from their evil way, and from
the evil of their doings.  Am I
a God at hand, saith the LORD,
and not a God afar off?  Can
any hide himself in secret places
that I shall not see him? saith the
LORD. Do not I fill heaven
and earth? saith the LORD.

WHAT IS PURE RELIGION?

Photo provided by Karen Boston Fain

For if any be a hearer of the word,
and not a doer, he is like unto a man
beholding his natural face in a glass:
For he beholdeth himself, and goeth
his way, and straightway forgetteth
what manner of man he was.  But
whoso looketh into the perfect law
of liberty, and continueth therein,
he being not a forgetful hearer,
but a doer of the work, this man
shall be blessed in his deed.  If
any man among you seem to be
religious, and bridleth not his
tongue, but deceiveth his own
heart, this man’s religion is vain.
Pure religion and undefiled
before God and the Father is
this, To visit the fatherless and
widows in their affliction, and
to keep himself unspotted from
the world.

YOU HAVE ONE VOICE

You have one voice!
It's your's!
Use it wisely.

*Don't waste it on things that don't
make a difference.

*Don't burn bridges you may
need to cross later in life.

*Don't use it in vulgar ways when
you can use it to edify and lift up!

*Don't use it to slice the people you love the
most but use it to help them become
greater men and women for the next
generation.

*Do find someone and give them hope.

*Do give more today than you
gave yesterday.

*Do go the extra mile to make sure
your children have a safer world to live in

*Do stand for what you believe but do it
with love and put away the cruelty.
Make sure you believe the right
things instead of the things that make
you feel good.

IF GOD BE FOR US, WHO CAN BE AGAINST US?

Photo provided by Kelly Ann Gray

What shall we then say to these things?
If God be for us, who can be against us?
He that spared not his own Son, but
delivered him up for us all, how
shall he not with him also freely
give us all things?  Who shall lay
any thing to the charge of God’s
elect? It is God that justifieth.  Who
is he that condemneth? It is Christ
that died, yea rather, that is risen
again, who is even at the right hand
of God, who also maketh intercession
for us.  Who shall separate us from
the love of Christ? shall tribulation,
or distress, or persecution, or famine,
or nakedness, or peril, or sword?  As
it is written, For thy sake we are killed
all the day long; we are accounted as
sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all
these things we are more than c
onquerors through him that loved us.
For I am persuaded, that neither death,
nor life, nor angels, nor principalities,
nor powers, nor things present, nor
things to come,  Nor height, nor depth,
nor any other creature, shall be able to
separate us from the love of God,
which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

ALL THE FATHER GIVETH

Photo Provided by Kelly Ann Gray

All that the Father giveth me shall
come to me; and him that cometh
to me I will in no wise cast out.
For I came down from heaven,
not to do mine own will, but
the will of him that sent me.
And this is the Father’s will
which hath sent me, that of
all which he hath given me I
should lose nothing, but should
raise it up again at the last day.
And this is the will of him that
sent me, that every one which
seeth the Son, and believeth on
him, may have everlasting life:
and I will raise him up at the last day.

BUCK AND COWBOY

My husband recently started a blog and
this is the link to it.  I wanted to share
this story with my readers and encourage
you to visit his blog often as he is a great
writer and speaker.

HOLY UNTO THE LORD

My oldest son recently purchased me an Amaryllis.
He remembered this was my favorite flower.
This flower appears to be the type of flower that
would bloom in the Spring, it's not.  This flower
is a winter flower.  So bright and beautiful
and so delicate.  This flower is mainly grown
indoors due to it being a winter flower.
December this the month most of the blooms
burst forth but for mine, it's mid-January.
Waiting ever so patiently for the first stem
to bring forth a flower.  It sprouted up and
out popped three bright red trumpet looking
blooms.  Suddenly another stem sprouted up,
then a third stem came up right as the first set
of  flowers began to fade away.  The two stems
brought forth six bright red trumpet flowers
that were almost velvet looking.  Suddenly a
forth stem sprang up and with the six bright red
flowers in bloom we are waiting anxiously for
the next three flowers to break out of their
hiding place into the radiant light.

My husband and grandson were teasing me
this morning.  My husband said, "You've taken
more photo's of that flower in the last few days
than you've taken of your grand-children.  Well,
we all know that's not so, because every week
when they stay with me, my camera is flashing
capturing every moment of their lives.

As I was taking the photo's this morning, I was
singing a song I heard online earlier this morning.
"You've got a Friend in Me".  Noah burst out
laughing and said, "MeeMee, you are singing
that song to your flower,  Don't you think
that's pretty funny MeeMee to be singing to
your flower"?  I think he had just heard his
PawPaw teasing me and decided to join in.

There is a reason I snap these photo's each day
of this vibrant breathtaking flower.  It will soon
wither up, form a pod and drop seeds from it.
Those seeds will be captured and preserved.
I will plant the seeds next year and wait
patiently.  I could wait for up to six years
in order for this very plant to grow and
produce more of these magnificent flowers.  I
will have to wait patiently in order to see
this thing of beauty take place.

This is much like our Christian lives.  We plant a
seed, and we must wait, watch and pray.  It may be
a seed we are wanting to produce salvation in
someones life.  That small seed may be much like
the Amaryllis, slow to pollinate and slow to
transform into a beautiful bloom.

Too many times we are not willing to hang around,
cultivate and wait patiently for their lives to change.
We want instant change to take place, something that
rarely happens.  We must be willing to do all we can
in order to yield the harvest of such beauty.

From this one flower pot, there will be twelve
pods for new flowers.  From those twelve pods
there will be thirty six and they will keep multiplying.
Not each one will produce a flower but each one
I cultivate properly will.

May we start looking at the fields ripe unto
harvest and cultivate more seeds for God's
kingdom instead of living our lives allowing
the seeds to dry and wither up.

May we get to see the magnificent glory
displayed as lives around us are changed
into vibrant, radiant things of beauty.

He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing
precious seed, shall doubtless come
again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves
with him

ALL THE EARTH WILL BE FILLED WITH HIS GLORY

Photo provided by Kelly Ann Gray

For the earth shall be filled with the
knowledge of the glory of the
LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

Habakkuk 2:14

But as truly as I live, all the
earth shall be filled
with the glory of the Lord.

Number 14:21

Be thou exalted, O God, above
the heavens; let thy glory be above
all the earth.

Psalm 57:5

And every creature which is in
heaven, and on the earth, and under
the earth, and such as are in the sea,
and all that are in them, heard I
saying, Blessing, and honour, and
glory, and power, be unto him that
sitteth upon the throne, and unto the
Lamb for ever and ever.

Teach me good judgment and

thy commandments.  Before I was
afflicted I went astray: but now

THOU SHALT REJOICE BEFORE THE LORD

Photo provided by Cheryl Macy

REMEMBER HIS PROMISES FOR YOUR CHILDREN
THOU SHALT REJOICE BEFORE THE LORD

And thou shalt rejoice before the LORD
thy God, thou, and thy son, and thy
daughter, and thy manservant, and
thy maidservant, and the Levite that
is within thy gates, and the stranger,
and the fatherless, and the widow, that
are among you, in the place which
the LORD thy God hath chosen to place
his name there.

DEUTERONOMY 16:11

For I will pour water upon him that is
thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground:
I will pour my spirit upon thy seed,
and my blessing upon thine offspring:
And they shall spring up as
among the grass, as willows by
the water courses.

EXCEEDING GREAT AND PRECIOUS PROMISES

Photo provided by Michael Williams

 .....to them that have obtained
like precious faith with us through
the righteousness of God and our
Saviour Jesus Christ:  Grace and
peace be multiplied unto you
through the knowledge of
God, and of Jesus our Lord,
According as his divine power
hath given unto us all things that
pertain unto life and godliness,
through the knowledge of him that
hath called us to glory and virtue:
Whereby are given unto us exceeding
great and precious promises: that
by these ye might be partakers of
the divine nature, having escaped
the corruption that is in the world
through lust.  And beside this,
giving all diligence, add to
your faith virtue; and to virtue
knowledge;  And to knowledge
temperance; and to temperance
patience; and to patience godliness;
And to godliness brotherly kindness;
and to brotherly kindness charity.

THE FATHER BESTOWS HIS LOVE ON US

Behold, what manner of love the
Father hath bestowed upon
us, that we should be called
the sons of God: therefore
the world knoweth us not,
because it knew him not.
Beloved, now are we
the sons of God, and
it doth not yet appear
what we shall be: but
we know that, when he
shall appear, we shall
be like him; for we
shall see him as he is.

MY HEART TRUSTETH IN THEE

Photo provided by Patricia Ziegler

The LORD is my strength and
my shield; my heart trusted in him,
and I am helped: therefore my
heart greatly rejoiceth; and with
my song will I praise him.
The LORD is their strength,
and he is the saving strength of
his anointed. Save thy people,
and bless thine inheritance:
feed them also, and lift them
up for ever.

PREVIEW OF A CHAPTER IN UPCOMING BOOK

LOOKING BEYOND OURSELVES

This chapter includes
TUNING MY HEART
"Casting out Fear,
Defeat and Doubt.".

Fear   ....the fear becomes laced with
lashing words in order to push the
person as far away from them as
possible so they could breathe.
This fear not only cripples them,
but it cripples others they come in
contact with them.

Defeat   ....... defeated over words said,
that the person speaking to them
was uninformed,  Even if they had
done something wrong, the Lord does
not intend for them to dig a pit and throw
themselves into it and keep piling the dirt
on.  He wants to offer forgiveness, bring
cleansing and invite them to come and
sit at the table and feast with him.
He surely doesn't want them in the pit
over something someone misunderstood
about them, yet most of the time that is why
we end up in this pit of defeat.

Doubt    ........cause doubt to tremble, run
and hide. Have a genuine pursuit of
faith. In order to do this you must.........

When you find you have separated
yourself from your fears, defeats and
doubts, may your faith cry from the
mountain top, as the song writer said,
“My Faith has Found a Resting Place.”

May freedom be found in
"Looking Beyond Ourselves."

My faith has found a resting place
Not in the device or creed.
I trust the everlasting one
His wounds for me shall plead.
I need no other argument
I need no other plea.
It is enough that Jesus died
And that he died for me.

Enough for me that Jesus saves
This ends my fear and doubt
A sinful soul I come to Him
He'll never cast me out
I need no other argument
I need no other plea.
It is enough that Jesus died
And that he died for me.

SEEK THE LORD CONTINUALLY

Sing unto him, sing psalms unto
him, talk ye of all his wondrous
works. Glory ye in his holy name:
let the heart of them rejoice that
seek the LORD.  Seek the LORD
and his strength, seek his face
continually.  Remember his marvellous
works that he hath done, his wonders,
and the judgments of his mouth;

THE FEAR OF THE LORD IS HIS TREASURE

Photo provided by Julie Dozier

Come near, ye nations, to hear; and
hearken, ye people: let the earth
hear, and all that is therein; the
world, and all things that come
forth of it.  For the indignation
of the LORD is upon all nations,
and his fury upon all their armies:
he hath utterly destroyed them,
he hath delivered them to the
slaughter.  Their slain also shall
be cast out, and their stink shall
come up out of their carcases,
and the mountains shall be
melted with their blood.  And
all the host of heaven shall be
dissolved, and the heavens
shall be rolled together as a
scroll: and all their host shall
fall down, as the leaf falleth
off from the vine, and as a
falling fig from the fig tree.
For my sword shall be bathed
in heaven: behold, it shall
come down upon Idumea, and
upon the people of my curse, to
judgment.  The sword of the LORD
is filled with blood, it is made fat
with fatness, and with the blood
of lambs and goats, with the fat of
the kidneys of rams: for the LORD
hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a
great slaughter in the land of Idumea.
And the unicorns shall come down
with them, and the bullocks with the
bulls; and their land shall be soaked
with blood, and their dust made fat
with fatness.  For it is the day of the
LORD’S vengeance, and the year
of recompences for the controversy
of Zion.  And the streams thereof
shall be turned into pitch, and the
dust thereof into brimstone, and the
land thereof shall become burning
pitch.  It shall not be quenched
night nor day; the smoke thereof
shall go up for ever: from generation
to generation it shall lie waste; none
shall pass through it for ever and ever.
But the cormorant and the bittern shall
possess it; the owl also and the raven
shall dwell in it: and he shall stretch
out upon it the line of confusion,
and the stones of emptiness. They shall
call the nobles thereof to the kingdom,
but none shall be there, and all her princes
shall be nothing.  And thorns shall come
up in her palaces, nettles and brambles
in the fortresses thereof: and it shall be
an habitation of dragons, and a court for
owls. The wild beasts of the desert shall
also meet with the wild beasts of the island,
and the satyr shall cry to his fellow; the
screech owl also shall rest there, and find
for herself a place of rest.  There shall
the great owl make her nest, and lay, and
hatch, and gather under her shadow: there
shall the vultures also be gathered, every
one with her mate. Seek ye out of the book
of the LORD, and read: no one of these
shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my
mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it
hath gathered them.  And he hath cast the
lot for them, and his hand hath divided it
unto them by line: they shall possess it for
ever, from generation to generation shall
they dwell therein.

DELIVER ME IN THY RIGHTEOUSNESS

Photo provided by Patricia Ziegler

In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust;
let me never be ashamed: deliver me
in thy righteousness. Bow down thine
ear to me; deliver me speedily: be thou
my strong rock, for an house of defence
to save me. For thou art my rock and my
fortress; therefore for thy name’s sake lead
me, and guide me. Pull me out of the net
that they have laid privily for me: for thou art
my strength. Into thine hand I commit my
spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O LORD God
of truth. I have hated them that regard lying
vanities: but I trust in the LORD. I will be
glad and rejoice in thy mercy: for thou hast
considered my trouble; thou hast known my
soul in adversities; And hast not shut me up
into the hand of the enemy: thou hast set my
feet in a large room. Have mercy upon me, O
LORD, for I am in trouble: mine eye is
consumed with grief, yea, my soul and my
belly.  For my life is spent with grief, and my
years with sighing: my strength faileth because
of mine iniquity, and my bones are consumed. I
was a reproach among all mine enemies, but
especially among my neighbours, and a fear to
mine acquaintance: they that did see me
without fled from me. I am forgotten as a dead
man out of mind: I am like a broken vessel.
For I have heard the slander of many: fear
was on every side: while they took counsel
together against me, they devised to take
away my life.  But I trusted in thee,
O LORD: I said, Thou art my God. My times
are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of
mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.
Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: save
me for thy mercies’ sake. Let me not be
ashamed, O LORD; for I have called upon thee:
let the wicked be ashamed, and let them be
silent in the grave. Let the lying lips be put
to silence; which speak grievous things
proudly and contemptuously against the
righteous. Oh how great is thy goodness,
which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee;
which thou hast wrought for them that trust
in thee before the sons of men! Thou shalt hide
them in the secret of thy presence from the
pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly
in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.
Blessed be the LORD: for he hath shewed
me his marvellous kindness in a strong city.
For I said in my haste, I am cut off
from before thine eyes: nevertheless thou
heardest the voice of my supplications when
I cried unto thee. O love the LORD, all ye his
saints: for the LORD preserveth the faithful,
and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer. Be of
good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart,
all ye that hope in the LORD.

SUICIDE AND STRUGGLES WITH LIFE

Photo provided by Patricia Ziegler

Do you ever feel so weighed down from
all the trials and struggles in life?
Living in this day and age, of multiple
electronic deivces, adds additional
struggles to our lives.  I speak to many who
feel as if they are carrying the weight of
the world on their shoulders.  Between
the battles of marriage, family relationships,
and raising children in this day in age when
everything is accessible for themselves, their
mates  and their  children to indulge in, it becomes
a real battle to to survive.

Our pastor, Lash Banks reminds us often
to focus on the Savior and glance at our
problems.  In doing so, we are able to keep
the right perspective on life.

As being a child effected by this topic
I chose to post a statement my
niece posted today, as I felt she did a
great job saying what everyone struggling
with this topic should hear.

Words by Emily Carruth

I've seen a lot of posts about suicide.
It's a serious issue.
Suicide is a loss. It's a disease. It's
heart wrenching. It's an end to what
could have been a new beginning.
It's an imbalance in the brain. It's
a way to end all good and bad.
It's something that effects everyone
around you. It's not a decision
made out of spite. It's not a
decision made lightly. It's not an
open discussion. It's not a revenge
tactic. It's not a personal or
impersonal gain. It's a reality and
there are so many out there who
constantly have that state of mind.
It's hurt and a wish to be free from
all the hate and self consciousness.
It's a powerful message. It effects
generations. It's a battle within ones
self. If you or someone you know has
had these thoughts and are going
through this please, I urge you,
find someone you can trust
to help you through it. Your
mind may be set, and you may feel
like you can't take anymore. Death
will never solve your problems. It
only stops your dreams from coming
true. There is so much more to life than
what is happening in yours right now.
You aren't battling this alone. Find
a friend to talk to. Talk to me. Love
yourself. Regardless of what anyone
has said or thought about you, know
your worth and who you are! It will
get better and you will find peace and
comfort but first you have to give it a
chance. Keep moving forward. Keep
your head held high and strive
for happiness. Don't settle in the
negativity for it only creates a
comfort zone you don't want. Make
yourself get up. Love who you are
and who you will become!

So today, your trial may be, just trying
to survive.  If so, read James 1:2-12

My brethren, count it all joy when
ye fall into divers temptations;
Knowing this, that the trying of
your faith worketh patience.
But let patience have her perfect work,
that ye may be perfect and entire,
wanting nothing.  If any of you lack
wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth
to all men liberally, and upbraideth not;
and it shall be given him.  But let him ask
in faith, nothing wavering. For he that
wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven
with the wind and tossed.  For let not that
man think that he shall receive any thing
of the Lord.  A double minded man is
unstable in all his ways.  Let the brother
of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted:
But the rich, in that he is made low: because
as the flower of the grass he shall pass away.
For the sun is no sooner risen with a
burning heat, but it withereth the grass,
and the flower thereof falleth, and the
grace of the fashion of it perisheth:
so also shall the rich man fade away in
his ways.  Blessed is the man that
endureth temptation: for when
he is tried, he shall receive the crown
of life, which the Lord hath promised
to them that love him.

HIS WAYS PAST FINDING OUT

Photo provided by Tara Cook Bruce

O the depth of the riches both of the
wisdom and knowledge of God! how
unsearchable are his judgments,
and his ways past finding out!
For who hath known the mind
of the Lord? or who hath been
his counsellor?  Or who hath first
given to him, and it shall be
recompensed unto him again?
For of him, and through him, and
to him, are all things: to whom be
glory for ever. Amen.  I beseech you
therefore, brethren, by the mercies of
God, that ye present your bodies a
living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto
God, which is your reasonable service.
And be not conformed to this world:
but be ye transformed by the renewing
of your mind, that ye may prove what
is that good, and acceptable, and
perfect, will of God.

SANCTIFIED THROUGH THY TRUTH

Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word
is truth.  As thou hast sent me into the world,
even so have I also sent them into the world.
And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they
also might be sanctified through the truth.
Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also
which shall believe on me through their word;
That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art
in me, and I in thee, that they also may
be one in us: that the world may believe that
thou hast sent me.  And the glory which thou
gavest me I have given them; that they may be
one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in
me, that they may be made perfect in one; and
that the world may know that thou hast sent me,
and hast loved them,as thou hast loved me.
Father,  I will that they also, whom thou hast
given me, be with me where I am; that they
may behold  my glory, which thou hast given me:
for thou lovedst me before the foundation
of the world.  O righteous Father, the world
hath not known thee: but I have known thee,
and these have known that thou hast sent me.
And I have declared unto them thy name,
and will declare it: that the love wherewith
thou has loved me may be in them,
and I in them.

WAITING FOR MY PRINCE TO COME

And I saw heaven opened, and
behold a white horse; and he that
sat upon him was called Faithful
and True, and in righteousness
he doth judge and make war.
Revelation 19:11

Last night I went to bed with a heavy
heart  This last year we have heard
of many who have turned their lives
around after searching for many years
for happiness.  They searched for
it in the swamps that had been
painted on the top surface to
appear very beautiful.  They not
only swam in the swamps but
many of them have swam to
the depths of those pools.

As they plunged into the pool
looking for happiness they soon
found it was not on the top surface.
Instead of getting out of the pool,
they dove deeper into the water.

Why, you might ask did they
dive deeper?  The answer is the
the pool had been painted an
iridescent carnival blue and
early in life they had learned to
run after those fairy-tales in
search of their prince.

Each time they plunged deeper into
the depths of this pool, it brought
forth a deeper dissatisfaction and
once again, instead of climbing out
of the pool they began to pick up the
mud they found laying around the
edges and started slinging it at anyone
who tried to help them find their way
out of the muck and mire of life.

They look at our lives and throw
it up into our face, "You have waited
and waited for your Prince to come
and where is he?  You have sat and
do not enjoy the aroma of all the
pleasures of life around you in wait
for your Prince, but,  "Is he to be found? "
How can you judge me for enjoying
the wait instead of sitting and gazing
at the sky in wait of this one who
never seems to come?"

I must say many years ago, I
also was tempted to dive into
the enchanted waters and join those
basking inside of this iridescent
intoxicating carnival blue pool,
as it seemed much more appealing to
me than sitting and waiting for my
Prince to come.  It seemed almost
daily I would watch other believers
plunge into the ebullience wooing depths
and they seemed to be enjoying life to it's
fullest while I sat and waited for what
others began to say, "Our fairy-tale Prince."

As time has passed I have watched
those people swim deeper and
deeper looking for something I
surely thought they had found the
moment they dove into these inviting
 warm waters.  Instead the satisfaction
was only a temporary satisfaction.

As the waters began to chill around
them they could only remember the
warm spa feeling they received the
first time they entered the waters.
Now that they keep diving deeper
they can't even see the trail of
tears they are leaving behind from
their children who are watching
them drown in the carnival blue
pool.

The sisters and brothers,
mothers and fathers, aunts and
uncles can see plain as day this
person is drowning but the person
themselves throw out more mud
and scream to be left alone as they
too are in search of their prince
in these waters they have entered.

As I prepare to decorate my grand-
daughters fairy-tale Disney seventh
birthday cake,  I can understand why
so many people fall for this desire to
be taken away into this fairy-tale
world.  It is one filled with a sense of
total satisfaction and ecstasy.  One
where we do not have to deal with the
sink over-flowing, the toilet needing
cleaned, the battery on the car not working
properly and the bed needing to be made
for the day. It is a land where we can
lay back and enjoy life right inside this
hair raising, filthy dirty world we live in.

What happens when we enter the carnival
blue pool is the same thing that happens
when you pick up a carnival blue glass
and look through it-everything becomes
distorted.

I listen to people talk about how
perverted so and so is or how could
this person possibly not see the way
they are living their lives is causing
ripple effects that could take years
of counseling for their dear children
to overcome.  Yet, they  themselves
can't see, they are swimming in the
same pool as this very person they
are referring to, the difference is-they
just haven't swam as deep into the
waters as the other person.

Each day at 4:30 PM my alarm
goes off and I pray for some precious
people who believed the carnival blue
pool and fluffy cotton candy of
this life will soon become a reality
to them.  I pray they may see that
staying in those waters too long has
caused their lives to swivel up and
waste away and the cotton candy
pleasure of this life has only
caused them to become worldly fat,
ugly and be diseased with pride,
anger, arrogance, hatefulness, and
loneliness.  I pray they find, the depth of
their empty heart can never be filled-no
matter how deep they dive into this
pool that is wooing them to come
a little deeper to find their pleasure.
I pray they soon find the heart just can't
seem to ever find this satisfaction
they are in search of.  I pray instead of
swimming in the carnival blue iridescent
waters that has distorted their view, they
will come to shore, wrap themselves
in the perfect peace of Jesus Christ, To
sit on the banks for awhile, and to watch
and wait for the True Prince to come.
While doing so, I pray they can see-
they themselves can help others out
of the fairy--tale waters onto the
shores where real peace is found.
A peace that causes others to
celebrate their wholeness instead of
worry about them drowning in the
falsehood this world seems to be
distorting everyone's eyes with.

I pray they will follow the truth which
causes their family members to
bathe in contentment that their lives
too, will be alright.  That they will
no longer be eating of the pleasures
of destruction but from the table
of righteousness, holiness and purity.
The table that causes us to gain souls
for the eternal kingdom and not become
worldly fat-filled with all the worldly
attributes.  I pray we all begin together,
to learn the attributes of our Prince who
one day will come for us, as he is called
Faithful and True, and Righteousness.

As I shared at the top of this blog, I went
to bed with a very heavy heart, but this
morning I had a song on my heart.  It was
a song that those I am praying for will find
their Prince one day.  Then we together
will be able to walk on streets of gold and
enjoy the beauty-not a faily-tale beauty,
but the real beauty of the King of Kings.

WAITING FOR MY PRINCE TO COME

Revelation 21:7 - 22:7

7  He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
8  But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
9  And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife.
10  And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,
11  Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;
12  And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:
13  On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.
14  And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
15  And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.
16  And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.
17  And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.
18  And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.
19  And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;
20  The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.
21  And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.
22  And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.
23  And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
24  And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.
25  And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.
26  And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.
27  And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
1  And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
2  In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
3  And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
4  And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
5  And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
6  And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.
7  Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.
