DON'T BE LIKE THE JELLYFISH

Don't be like the jellyfish that has no brain, no vertebrae, no central nervous system, and most importantly no heart. It can only feel by using the loose network of nerves on its outer skin that sends information to a central nerve ring.
The jellyfish spends all of its time floating around in the dark. When it's exposed to light it will retreat back into darkness.
The jellyfish is a beautiful creature when it glows in the dark and it is intriguing to watch, much like the beauty in our present day world.
Have you ever tried to get your hands on a piece of that beauty?
This type of beauty will leave you weeping. The sting of a jellyfish can be quite painful or even deadly.
You may be like the jellyfish, pushing away from the light of Jesus Christ. He has shown his light to you through his word and through friends and family. It's just human nature to push away from the light. You may have used hundreds of excuses as to why you can't come to the light of Jesus Christ or why you don't want to come to the light.
The fact still remains; you are in need of the savior. It's time to quite pushing away from him.
You feel he has ignored you, so you are just doing the same based on your feelings.
You say, "He wasn't there when great trials came my way or when death knocked on my door." His light has always been there. You may have been the one that pushed away from it.
Don't let your feelings be top surface as that of a jellyfish. Trust the Lord with all your heart and let him shine his light of truth so your soul and set you free!
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come. (Ephesians 1:17-21)
