LISTENING EVER LISTENING

We hear many sounds in our lifetime.  Many of these sounds give us warnings for our life.  We can either listen to the sounds and take action or we can plug our ears to the alarms going off around us.

We have the Emergency Broadcasting System that sounds the alarm across the radio waves to warn us if there is a storm coming or yother natural  disaster coming.  When you hear this alarm you should gather the children up and take them to a safe location away from anything that will harm them.  If you decide not to listen to the alarm then there is a great possibility that could not survive.  Everyone of us know that a parent would be irresponsible to ignore the alarm.

There are many places in the Word of God that are there for alarms.  In the days of Noah the alarm was sounded.  Only those that took the alarm serious were saved.

In the days of Nineveh there was Jonah who was sent by God to sound the alarm to the people in that city.  Unlike in the days of Noah, Jonah sounded the alarm and the people listened.  They seen the need to turn from their wicked ways and to save their lives and the lives of their children.

The Lord has asked us to sound the alarm for him.  Will you be a Noah or a Jonah and let people know what the Word of God says about his return?  He has asked us to listen for the alarm, to listen for the signs of his return.  The bible says in the last days there will be false prophets, men will be lovers of themselves and lovers of money.  It says the gospel will be able to be heard all over the world and the list goes on.  We see all the things in the scripture that the Lord says will come to past in the end times.  One specific thing he mentioned is that there would be a pure red heffer in the last days for sacrifice.  We have gone hundreds of years without the possibility of a red heffer.  There have been two red heffers born since 2006.  We need to be sounding the alarm to those around us who do not know Christ.

 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed;
the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
Two women shall be grinding together the one shall be taken,
 and the other left.
Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

LUKE 17:34-36

So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things,
know that it is near, even at the doors.
Verily I say unto you,
This generation shall not pass,
till all these things be fulfilled.
Heaven and earth shall pass away,
but my words shall not pass away.
But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no,
not the angels of heaven, but my Father

MATTHEW 24:33-36
