HOW BIG IS YOUR GOD?

A few weeks ago, I was praying
and asked the Lord,  "Why do some people
just not see you as the mighty God and
yet others see you mighty and lifted up?"
I've had people tell me that they don't
even believe God exist.

When I ask the
Lord this type of question I know that
I need to keep all of my senses open
and listening for Him to answer.

The answer came today as I was purchasing
some books for my grand children.  When
you look at this photo does it appear that
the black dots are different sizes?  They are
not.  They are both exactly the same size
I know because I drew them myself.

As the objects in the photo grow larger the
black circle looks smaller.  The same is
true in our lives.  If we allow the joys of
life to grow out of proportion then our
view of God becomes smaller.

The scripture says that in the last days men
will become lovers of themselves instead
of lovers of God.  It also said that there would
be a strong delusion that would keep people
from seeing who He really is because of
their love of themselves and life's pleasures.

Have you allowed all of technology and the
knowledge of this century to keep you from
really seeing how big God is?  God has never
changed His size.  He has remained the same
all through the years.

He is just as great and powerful today
as he was in Moses and Noah's time.  If
we allow other things to rule and reign in
our hearts daily He will become smaller and
smaller to us.  That doesn't change Him, it
only changes our prospective of Him.

JOB 26:11-14
The pillars of heaven tremble and are
astonished at his reproof.   He divideth the sea
with his power, and by his understanding
he smiteth through the proud. By his spirit he
hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath
formed the crooked serpent. Lo, these are parts
of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him?
but the thunder of his power who can understand?
